What is the #ChooseYourImpact Campaign?
In partnership with Vancouver Social Value Fund and Social Innovation Academy, the Impact Ambassador program connects you to passionate leaders and student analysts who have informed opinions on where you can give to make the most impact. No matter what cause you want to support, they're here for you.
How does it work?
1. Click Giving Groups Supporting this Campaign above to find the cause you want to support.
2. Learn about Impact Ambassador's portfolio: Every Impact Ambassador or team of students has made an Impact Portfolio built up of the charities they believe in.
3. Give to the cause: Click Give on the cause you want to support and your gift will only be sent to the charities they’ve chosen as the most effective.
4. Get your tax receipt: You’ll receive a tax receipt for your generosity right away.
5. If you want, turn on monthly support and share with friends & family: Turn on monthly giving and commit to supporting the Impact Portfolio for as long as you like. After all, real change takes time.

Who are these ambassadors?
Impact Ambassadors are engaged and passionate advocates for a particular cause. These individuals have strong, expertise-backed beliefs about where you should give to create the most impact — no matter how much you give. An Impact Ambassador creates an Impact Portfolio, which is a group of charities hand-picked for their proven ability to drive significant change in this area.
Some Impact Portfolios have been developed with, or solely by, a team of UBC and SFU analysts from the Vancouver Social Value Fund and Social Innovation Academy programs. These students are taking the time to understand cause-specific issues better by holding conversations with those who work in this area already. They are helping to identify the greatest needs in the community, and to learn which organizations are able to make use of charitable donations in this causal issue today. As this work is completed, the Impact Portfolios will be updated to reflect the understandings gained from these conversations.
We want you to give with confidence. Now more than ever.
