Our players get better at soccer and support the community at the same time!
The Group's Purpose
We want to help our boys grow as players and as young men, while helping the community. This year, the boys have chosen to help the SPCA and leukemia. Our goal is to raise $500 for these charities while developing their soccer skills.
How to Help
We invite parents to reward our team when we achieve our developmental goals. It is as easy as a clicking the mouse and giving a small reward to the team’s causes. It's all done through a secure site, and tax receipts are issued. When the kids reach their goals, you can drop in a buck or two from the amount you've got in the bank. We are very fortunate this year in that HootSuite will be covering all the administrative costs (so every dollar you gives goes right to charity) and Chamipons in Sport will be matching our donations!
Pass the message along to family, friends and other potential sponsors, and at the end of the year the kids can take some real pride in having raised money for two worthy charities while developing as players and young men.
But it's not all about the money. You can also just add an encouraging note to the comments page.
In addition, we also invite you to challenge your kids to set their own personal metrics, in order to foster a love for the game, build skills and increase personal pride. As a parent, one example would be to challenge your son to break his juggling metric.
We encourage participation and most importantly to have fun. The ultimate goals is to have fun and keep our youth in sport.

About the Organizers
The U12 Flames coaches--Sean, Steve, David and Adam--are passionate about creating a great team, but also teaching kids the importance of giving back to the community and testing their individual limits.
Sean is a great, positive coach who is respected by all the lads and grew up playing some pretty competitve soccer. David is passionate in his coaching and hyper-organized in his managerial talents. Bar none, the best team manager ever. Steve is English, so he knows everything about football and was born with a little football between his feet. Adam yells a lot.
