The Group's Purpose
Come on out for our 4th Annual Family Picnic in the Park at Prospect Point in Stanley Park with Earls cooking up some amazing eats on the grill! Bring a blanket or some chairs, a football and your whole crew as we'll be hanging out, chowing down, having fun and supporting a good cause in our community.
All are welcome! Please make a donation to support this event (bring your receipt to the event), as we aim to create amazing memories with our friends from the DTES.
If you can't make it, feel free to make an honorary donation here as well.
WHEN: Sunday, August 28th, 2016, 5:00pm-7:30pm
WHERE: Prospect Point Picnic Area, Stanley Park, 6200 Stanley Park Dr, Vancouver, BC
WHO: We will be hosting our guests from Whole Way House and everyone who would like to support our Community Programs is welcome to come!
WHAT ELSE: Please note in the comments how many people will be in your party so we can plan the food. We will also have a silent auction, raffle, games and prizes, so be sure to bring your check book/cash!

About the Organizers
Whole Way House is a Vancouver-based charitable society serving the residents of the Avalon Hotel. It was co-founded by Jenny, Josh and Mary Konkin. Our vision is to reach the people in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside by creating a safe and welcoming environment where we can build meaningful relationships and a community that instills worth, value and dignity. We believe that when a person feels loved and valued, they are able to find purpose in life and be a part of something greater. We offer friendship and support to those who are often lonely, isolated, rejected and forgotten.
