All about Canada Water Wonders of Canada Tour

Connecting people with Water and Immersing them in Wonder has been Terry Brown, the Amphibiographer's passion for decades.

Water Wonders of Canada Tour (WWCT) is all about: Inspiring and mentoring people to get outside and explore their local Waters, to be aware, and to feel a deep connection, which leads to love! From this love comes sustainable action, based on changed worldview, not just band-aid solutions which don’t address the root issues. Connection leads to protection. The mission of PacFUNS and Terry's initiative align and his mission is to inspire and motivate people to engage in actions which protect Water and all who live in Water.

From May through October of 2026 Terry will travel across Canada in his motorhome, from Sea to Sea, Pacific to Atlantic, celebrating our vast, unique, WaterFull country by exploring and videoing the wonders of Water. Terry will be sharing them with people on the tour website and social media. Immersing them in Wonder! Exploring on his own and connecting with Canadian elementary school classes, indigenous restoration projects, a Canadian Geographic Explorer in Residence, lifelong friends, naturalist clubs etc., to explore their Local Liquid with them and post videos of these interactions.

Videoing while snorkelling, free-diving, paddleboarding, and canoeing. Starting out from Terry's home in the Water-filled qathet Regional District of the upper Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Terry will traverse Canada to Newfoundland and back, celebrating the return of Adams River sockeye salmon in the last week of October!

Most importantly from a PacFUNS perspective this tour is occurring at a critical juncture in Canada’s, when we need to appreciate, celebrate and protect our collective sovereignty, the true north, strong and free! In 2027 Terry will venture to Canada’s northern sea, the Arctic Ocean, exploring and celebrating the little known aquatic wonders in Canada’s North and Arctic, where Arctic security as well as sovereignty is hotly contested.
