Group Admins
Thrive Refuge is a student non-profit organization with a goal to provide incoming refugees the access to musical education. All funds raised will be used to establish a perpetual bursary program with the Immigration Services Society of BC and support deserving refugees every year.
Refugee Resettlement
In addition to raising funds for the Immigration Services of BC. Thrive Refuge has also worked diligently in resettling refugees in Canada. Most recently, Thrive Refuge sponsored gifted Ukrainian pianist Oleksandr (Sasha) Luchkov to travel to Canada and attend Shawnigan Lake School as an Impact Scholar.
We are proud to announce Sasha is now a student at the UBC School of Music and will be hosting a "Concert for Peace" on April 12th at the UBC Chan Centre for Performance Arts.
