Group Admins
On May 24th, Team Salus will take to the course in the Ottawa Race Weekend and go the extra mile in support of Salus. Everybody is talking about mental health; Salus is doing something about it.
The Group's Purpose
The road to recovery and living well with mental illness can only truly begin when stable housing and reliable supportive services are provided. Salus allows more than 300 tenants to begin that journey and more than 400 clients to stay on that road to recovery.
But Salus does so much more. We create ways for our clients and tenants to grow toward healthful, peaceful and joyful living. We create experiences that actually make the journey possible, and even help accelerate that journey to wellness.
Team Salus' goal is to raise $500 by participating in the Ottawa Race Weekend and going the extra mile in support of mental health!
How to Help
Ottawa Salus serves more than 700 people in our community who live with persistent mental illness. You can help us support their journey to wellness.
Join our giving group, make a donation and share our campaign with others. Your gift can change a life.
About the Organizers
Salus provides a permanent home of healing, health, and hope for men and women living with chronic mental illness and other severe life challenges. Each year Salus supports people in their individual journeys from homelessness, hospitalization, and isolation to places where they can experience stability, independence, and happiness.
Through supportive housing, programs, services and community partnerships, Salus transforms lives, comforts families and builds stronger, more inclusive neighbourhoods across Ottawa.
