Alana Carter is a 24-year old racing driver with a dream of racing in the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans! In 2023, Carter raced the Lotus Emira GT4 and was the development driver for a fully-electric touring car. Donate to Alana's 2024 racing campaign and get a charitable tax receipt!

About Alana

Alana's racing career started the same as most, competing in her first season of karting at 8 years old. Due to some life circumstances, she then had to take a break from karting but reignited her racing career on the paved oval track at 11 years old in the Whelan NASCAR Future Stocks class. With a season championship and countless podiums under her belt, she moved over to the dirt oval track for a more dynamic challenge!

Winning her first ever dirt oval race in a Northern Alberta Mini Stock, Alana continued to win 4 races and received Rookie of the Year and the Hard Charger award in her rookie season. She then stepped into a 620hp Dirt Late Model where she raced for 5 years, winning the Western Cup Memorial Championship and taking home multiple podiums.

This oval track experience gave her a unique skillset that has served her well in the circuit racing world. In 2022, Carter won the Formula Woman Global talent search, hosted in England, and in 2023 she competed in British GT Cup for Formula Woman as the first driver in the world (alongside her teammate) to race the Lotus Emira GT4. She was also the development driver for the worlds first fully electric amateur touring car, the Scalar Performance SCR1, where she raced across the United States and helped develop the vehicle.

Throughout her career, Alana has been put in many situations where the odds were against her but has continuously come out on top and she is determined to prove to the world how capable she is.

All donations instantly receive a charitable tax receipt. Road To Racing is an Amateur Athletics Association, with the mandate to support amateur motorsports athletes across Canada.
As per CRA requirements, Donors can indicate their program preference for how a charity will apply their donation (in this case to Alana Carter), but ultimate authority on the use of the resources must rest with the charity. If the charity does not use the donation in the way the donors prefer, the charity will not return the donation to the donors. For example if the driver decides not to race, the remaining funds would remain with R2R for other scholarships.

Fundraising Update

Please note that the total funds raised on this site are IN ADDITION to funds raised that are sent to directly to Road To Racing. We encourage large donors to contact R2R directly at [email protected] regarding wiring funds or mailing a cheque directly to Road To Racing Canada, a registered Amateur Athletics Association.

2024 Plans

In 2024, Alana plans to race a radical SR3 in the Emzone Radical Cup Championship, select races in the Bikesport Championship in the UK, and she will wrap up her year with the FW Nation's Cup race in the Middle East.
