We believe that every girl is different and unique, and Sole Girls is empowering girls ages 8-12 with self-esteem, confidence, goal setting and success, healthy living, values and more --- all through physical activity!! Girls learn to build themselves mentally and physically to be prepared to finish a 5km fun run!
We can change statistics about how girls feel about themselves, their bodies and their friends.
Statistics from Canadianwomen.org
* a study found that about 50% girls in Grade Six were dieting—by Grade Ten, this had increased to almost 60%.
* Nine out of ten girls say the fashion industry and media puts a lot of pressureon them to be thin.
* Thirty seven per cent of all Canadians know a girl who thinks that she is not pretty enough, and as a result, is dieting or wants to get plastic surgery.
These statistics dont' have to be a reality - you can make a difference!! Help send a girl to Sole Girls!

My name is Ashley Wiles, I am the founder and head coach of Sole Girls.
As a life coach and running coach, I have seen the effects being physically active at a young age can have on adults and teens. Being physically active is not just about weight, it's about mental health.
I grew up with amazing mentors and role models in my life who modeled healthy living and I want to give that back to as many girls as I can! Sole Girls is designed to give girls mentorship and role models and values they can look to, to help them along the way!
As an avid runner, I've run marathons, half marathons, and triathlons around the world, most recently completing the world's highest road marathon in La Paz, Bolivia.
Help me, help our community by giving girls an opportunity to be strong, use their strong, become leaders and build our community!
