Sebastian had an amazing 1st year racing competitively in 2 stroke karting winning the Canadian Micro-Max Championship. This group was started to help fundraise with charitable donations, building on an incredible 2023 with the ultimate goal of becoming a full-time race car driver.

About Seb

In the words of a fun loving Donald Duck hat wearing 10 year old.

"Last year, my first year driving 2 stroke engines, was a really good race season. I started the year with two Florida Winter Tour races and had a pretty good start to the year. I decided last minute to race Mini Max (Under 14) and jr. Briggs (Under 16) at the club for the season and I got better each race. Most of the mini max kids at my club have been racing 2 stroke for 3 years, they were tough competition and were always pushing me to drive faster. Next up was the Canadian karting championships between Stratotech, Hamilton and Chilliwack. There were lots of ups and downs, crashes, engine issues and learning lessons. I like how busy it is for me at the tracks when I race more than one class. Ultimately I won a national title in Micro Max. For the rest of summer I did lots more practice, more club races and regional events collecting lots of trophies., Next I had some fun in Greece training for Worlds in Bahrain. I got to drive on 3 different tracks and hang out with a bunch of other racers from Athens. Finally I hit it off in Bahrain. My pace was top 10 in the morning of the finals but I ended up getting smashed off track into the sand to end a pretty good year. By the end of the season in all my races I race in, I raced in Micro Max, Mini Max, junior 2 Briggs, Rok and Iame. I finished my race season with 3 DNF’s 3 outside top ten, 3 Top Ten,3 4th’s, 2 3rd’s, 15 2nd’s and 14 1st’s. One of my favorite times was coming first place in Spokane at the Padholder Cup. It was very hot out (38 degrees) and the other kids were really great drivers. I had to be really focused and try not to make mistakes.
I think what sets me apart from other drivers off track is, I’m the really silly one and really energetic. I’m always carrying a stuffy around the pre-grid and my Donald Duck hat. On track instead of going quick to slow, I start not my fastest and speed up by the end of the session. What’s different about me when I’m at the race track vs just chilling with my friends, is that at the race track I’m still silly but I’m focused when I need to be instead of always being silly. I also love spending time with new drivers at the track, helping them learn the race line and braking points so they can be fast too.

2024 Plans

This year I’m planing to race in Italy and Greece, at Genk and PFI and other races like Skusa. I think the most we might spend is like 100,000 dollars. In the coming years I would like to race in the IMSA series. One of my goals is to do the dummy on someone. Another goal of mine is to go to Rotax Grand Finals in mini max(under 14) as a 10 year old. Thanks to Road to Racing and your support then I can do a lot more challenging races, And I would be really be excited to become a better Motorsports champion!
