On May 7th, 2016 we will be cycling over 50kms to raise money for much needed affordable housing in our communities. All funds will go to St Clare's Multifaith Housing Society, a non-profit group that develops affordable housing in downtown Toronto.
The Group's Purpose
You already know that we (Sarah and Pascal) are passionate about a solution to homelessness, not just a Band-Aid.
St. Clare's is a significant part of the homelessness solution in Toronto! Pascal has been a Board Member with St. Clare's for the last six years and Treasurer for the last three. Sarah has been a passionate advocate for affordable housing and has used St. Clare's as a model organization in her teaching and research.
Our students often ask us what they can do to help solve homelessness and the answer always involves more affordable and supportive housing. St. Clare's is doing just that and since it started (just over a decade ago) they have become the 5th largest non-profit, non-governmental housing provider in Toronto. Please help us help St. Clare's continue to build more housing in Toronto. You know already that so many people need it desperately.

How to Help
Please help me grease the wheels! I am off to cycle around Toronto to raise funds for affordable housing.
There are a few different ways to help...
You could donate a few dollars towards this cause! All donations receive a tax receipt.
If you can not donate you could join me for the ride and help us reach our goal.

About the Organizers
Since St. Clare’s welcomed our first tenant in 2001 they have built 383 units of affordable, supportive housing in Toronto's west end neighbourhoods - no small feat during a time where all levels of government have failed to adequately invest in housing for low-income Canadians.
This is St. Clare's fourth annual event. In 2015, we raised $41,436!! This year we hope to reach this goal again!
