Living in Ontario makes it impossible for one to avoid the Toronto Maple Leafs. For every goal the Leafs score this season I'm hoping to raise at least $5 for Interval House Hamilton, a charity that provides emergency shelter, counselling and other programs for women in need.
To truly feel the pain of watching the Buds light the lamp, I'm going to run 1KM every time they manage to get on the scoresheet. I'll be posting run updates regularly to document the progress.
Quite simply, any amount of money helps the cause. Whether you feel like contributing one night during the season or make regular contributions when you can, it all helps achieving the long term goal.
I'm Kyle Krische. Born in Kitchener, Ontario but I currently call Hamilton home. Husband, father and hockey fan.
