The Group's Purpose
Covers For The Cause enables artists to engage with their fans, create content, and raised much-needed funding for music therapy programs in Canada. Artists can raise money for music therapy programs in their hometown, or the serve a specific population of care.
These videos help raise awareness for Music Heals and the power of music. Music therapy is almost entirely donor-funded in Canada, and sharing your video requests helps to amplify the message.
How to Help
*** CURRENTLY UNABLE TO ACCEPT ADDITIONAL REQUESTS FOR THE YEAR. Will update when we can do it again! Thank you everyone for supporting such a great cause!
For a minimum donation of $300 (though of course you can donate more than that if you wish), we will cover a song of your choice, dedicate it to you and post in on youtube!
Include your name and social media handle so we can dedicate the request to you. You will be issued a tax receipt via email immediately.
About the Organizers
The Music Heals Charitable Foundation raises money and awareness for music therapy in Canada. In 4 years they have donated almost $900,000 to accredited music therapy programs across the country, serving children, seniors, palliative care, burn units, the autism spectrum, mental health, at-risk youth, dementia, bereavement, rehabilitation, and more.

About Nice Horse
Girls just wanna have fun – and Nice Horse are the best of the good-time girls. Born and raised on the Alberta prairies, Kaley Debra, Katie Marie, Brandi Caroline and Krista Lee are ready to unleash a bush-partying bolt of energy on the country music scene.
The band’s first year out of the gate is quickly garnering them a resume any veteran group would kill for. Following on the heels of a management deal with Coalition Music (Our Lady Peace, Tom Cochrane), the girls’ first shows included JUNOFest, an opening slot for the Kentucky Headhunters, and Big Valley Jamboree. Their first EP, produced by Jeff Dalziel (Washboard Union, Dan Davidson, Brett Kissel) and Bob Rock (Bryan Adams, Joan Jett), came out in February of 2017 as they hit the road with Tom Cochrane. It’s a country Cinderella story in the making, but one that’s well-earned.
Longtime friends and musical allies, joining forces seemed long overdue. One strong, smart, powerful girl on her own can start a spark - but four together can create an explosion.
