If you are visiting my CHARITABLE Giving Group to learn more about my racing and are interested in making a charitable donation, THANK YOU! The funds I raise here are crucial to help me advance my racing career and I am extremely grateful for the support -big or small- that I receive. I never forget that it is with this support that I am able to continue to chase my dream. Thank you for your interest, your donation, for believing in me and for being a part of my journey in motorsports. I sincerely appreciate it and hope to make you proud. (Check out the tabs below to learn more about me and my racing!)
Please note that the total funds raised on this site are IN ADDITION to funds raised that are sent to directly to Road To Racing. We encourage large donors to contact R2R directly at [email protected] regarding wiring funds or mailing a cheque directly to Road To Racing Canada, a registered Amateur Athletics Association.
The 2023 season was my rookie year in the Canadian Legend Car Series, driving the #25 for JDC Motorsports of Peterborough, Ontario. The Legend Car Series contains 4 divisions: Young Lions, Semi-Pro, Pro, and Masters. I sit within the youth-focused Young Lions division. All 4 divisions race together at the same time and I am the youngest driver on the track competing against other drivers whose ages range from their 20s to 50s. I'm very proud of what I was able to achieve this year! We competed at various Ontario tracks in Peterborough, Innisfil, and Sauble Beach. I was the Canadian National Young Lions Champion, and placed 10th/19 overall in the National Championship. I was also named Young Lions Champion within the Canadian Legend Car Series and placed 8th/25 amongst all divisions. I am looking forward to pushing harder next year as I once again drive the #25 with JDC Motorsports.
The costs involved with racing and climbing the ranks of motorsports are high. Many great drivers have had to stop racing because they run out of funds and their dream is lost. I am thankful to have this Giving Group in hopes that it can help me raise funds to further my racing career and help me reach my racing goals. The Funds raised here will go towards racing costs such as; race fees, car maintenance, travel, car damages and safety equipment.
Charity work is very much a part of my racing. It is important to me to use my racing platform to help others whenever possible. There are a number of outreach and fundraising initiatives and that I lead alongside my racing. Every year I host my annual "Keaton Pipe Racing LAPS4MD Fundraiser" where my goal is to sell LAPS4MD decals to raise funds and awareness for those living with Muscular Dystrophy. I also host an annual "Fall Food Drive for Feed The Need in Durham" and this past year, we raised equivalent to 4,102 meals. I am also a regular participant in the "Sim Racing For The Kids" event, a charity simulator racing event that brings professional and amateur drivers together with the goal of raising funds for SickKids Hospital.
I became interested in NASCAR at 5 years old, but had to wait until I was 7 to make my first step towards realizing my dream. I started competitively racing go-karts in an arrive-and-drive series, and did so for 3 years. Having reached the point where I was able to compete at the front, I made the jump to Club racing - a more competitive level of racing where drivers bring their own teams & equipment. I spent 3 more racing Club level with the support of Team VSR, racing at a number of different tracks such as Mosport, Goodwood, Innisfil, Hamilton, Gamebridge, and Sutton. During that time I was able to accomplish: 2x Mosport International Karting Association Championships, a Motomaster Ron Fellows Karting Championship, a Canadian National Vice-Champion, and Canada Cup Championship.
NOTE TO DONORS! All donations instantly receive a charitable tax receipt from Charitable Impact. Road To Racing is an Amateur Athletics Association, with the mandate to support amateur motorsports athletes across Canada. As per CRA requirements, Donors can indicate their program preference for how a charity will apply their donation (in this case to *your name*), but ultimate authority on the use of the resources must rest with the charity. If the charity does not use the donation in the way the donors prefer, the charity will not return the donation to the donors. For example if the driver decides not to race, the remaining funds would remain with R2R for other scholarships.
