The Canadian Paralympic Committee is encouraging Canadians to become a champion for Paralympic sport. Your tax-deductible donation will support programs and activities that have a lasting impact at the initial point of contact with aspiring athletes.
The Group's Purpose
There are more than four million people in Canada with a disability, but only a very small percentage is involved in physical activity. The cost of inactivity is very high – from escalating medical costs to increased social isolation.
With a focus on the programs and activities that create the first opportunities, we truly have the chance to make a profound and lasting impact at the initial point of contact with aspiring athletes.
Funds raised by the Canadian Paralympic Committee's 'From Playground to Podium' campaign will enhance their world-leading programs, which range from introductory “get involved” awareness programs, to school resources, to adapted sports equipment purchases and many more.
How to Help
Please join my group and donate online so that together we can create opportunity for Canadian athletes with a disability.

Please donate and together we can push the limits at every turn in the road and at every crack in the pavement to help increase the opportunities for Canadians of all abilities to get active in sports.
About the Organizers
The Canadian Paralympic Committee is a well-established not-for profit sports organization with a reputation for assisting athletes with a disability excel at the highest level of international competition through collaboration with our sport, government and corporate partners.
Following on the success at the Sochi 2014 Winter Paralympics - where Canada finished third in the gold medal standings - we turn our sights to the Toronto 2015 Parapan Am Games and the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
