UPDATE; $20,000 RAISED TO DATE W DIRECT DONATIONS! Dylan Ulinder is the recipient of the Area 27 / R2R scholarship to attend the FEED Racing School. Dylan was the quickest of the 20 Karters that attended the shootout. We are now raising money for travel and accommodation expenses.

Who Is Dylan Ulinder?

Seventeen year old Canadian racing driver Dylan Ulinder was born in North Vancouver, BC. His passion for cars started at an early age. In fact, his first words were Audi TT. The passion for all things automotive and racing has only grown since those early days. In 2019, Dylan was introduced to go-karting. First through kart rental programs throughout the Lower Mainland of BC, then through SIMA International Race Way in Sumas Washington and Kartplex at Area27 in Oliver, BC. In November of 2019, Dylan received his first private TB go-kart from Kartplex at Area27. Dylan’s first season as a driver was challenged by COVID-19 and the global health pandemic that ensued. Despite these challenges, Dylan practiced his race kraft and ultimately podiumed every race he entered the following year as an LO206 JR driver. In 2022, Dylan at the age of sixteen met the minimum age requirement to race as a 2 stroke, TaG Senior driver. Dylan competed regionally through 2022, placing 2nd in the Pacific Northwest PadHolder Super Cup Series and 2nd at his local club, West Coast Kart Club. Dylan was awarded Rookie of the Year for his remarkable performance as a TaG Senior driver in 2022. Dylan’s success continues through 2023. He is currently leading the PadHolder Super Cup Series championship in points. Beyond leading and winning races, Dylan has demonstrated his speed by winning the Road2Race FEED Racing School scholarship against 20 of Western Canada’s top amateur karters. The scholarship awards Dylan the opportunity to participate in the F4 Driving Academy – FEED Racing program in France. Ultimately competing for a scholarship to race in F4 through Europe in 2024.

How is the money being used?

The entry fee for the 5 day school is fully funded by Road To Racing and is not part of the fundraiser. This fundraising budget includes some open wheel training prior to going to France, flights to France for the school, and subsequent quarter and semi finals and finals entry fees, and accommodations.

If Dylan wins the FEED School, he would get a full French F4 Scholarship worth in excess of $250,000. A chance of a lifetime!

Is this a charitable donation?

Road to Racing is a Canadian registered Amateur Athletics Association and is permitted by CRA to issue tax receipts for donations. We are dedicated to advancing motorsports on a nationwide basis, and supporting amateur athletes in achieving their dreams.

As per CRA requirements, Donors can indicate their program preference for how a charity will apply their donation (in this case to Dylan Ulinder ), but ultimate authority on the use of the resources must rest with the charity.
If the charity does not use the donation in the way the donors prefer, the charity will not return the donation to the donors. For example if the driver decides not to race, the remaining funds would remain with R2R for other scholarships.
