We are volunteer missionaries with YWAM Mazatlán and God has given us a vision of reconciliation of Mexico's indigenous villages and local colonials to the Father; to bring the gospel of Jesus to them in a holistic approach of God, family, their lands, cultures and languages.

The vision that the Lord has given me (Dennis) is one that sent a shock wave from the tip of Mexico to the USA border encompassing all of Mexico. This vision was of a people who God loves and wants to redeem but they have been following false gods/idols
February 2021
“The Lord appeared to him from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness. Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! Again you will take up your tambourines, And go forth to the dances of the merrymakers. Again you will plant vineyards On the hills of Samaria; The planters will plant And will enjoy them. For there will be a day when watchmen On the hills of Ephraim call out, ‘Arise, and let us go up to Zion, To the Lord our God.’ ””
Jeremiah 31:3-6
Vision
To see villages (indigenous and Mexican) and local colonials, reconciled back to the Father through holistic God centred living.
To share and show God the Father to the people and how He loves their language and culture and to help them to redeem their culture, families, communities, and land back to the Father through Jesus Christ that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
“and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.” Colossians 1:20
I (Jodi Samantha) have a heart for hospitality and family life. I see our home as an extension of the base and vice versa. Our home is open to anyone who needs a quiet space to rest, study, relax, sleep or just find ‘home’ while away from home. I would like to eventually open our home for small groups (married couples, dating couples and singles), DTS students, interns, etc. to encourage them in their walk with the Lord, share insights as we learn more about the different stages that community living, marriage, parenting and life brings as we walk through them; mentoring each other. This heart will also follow us through our ministry travels, as I am always striving to make ‘home’ wherever we are.
“Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance. Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. Likewise urge the young men to be sensible; in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.”
Titus 2:2-8
Mission- what needs to happen to make the vision a reality?
Acceptance of the gospel of Jesus Christ
Family and relationships reconciled - to God and each other - love God, Love your neighbour, Love yourself
Culture reconciled to God - He loves it and will show where change needs to take place while maintaining its uniqueness
Empowering of women to bring honour and value to them and family life Creation reconciled - healthy soil, healthy people, healthy lifestyle
How?
Community development starting with agriculture
- faithfulness garden
- This is the start and bring things in as it progresses
- as relationship and community is reconciled we will require people form the base to come in in their strengths to facilitate change as well, eg. Arts , business, finances.....
Disciple the people through the 7 spheres of society, by building a team from the 7 spheres (Teachers, farmers, nurses etc) to go into the villages and colonials and building relationships with the people, to learn about them and their culture(s) and teach/show them the Lord’s love, mercy and grace with relational/social interactions.
Things we will need help with:
Training in community development.
Spanish lessons
Guidance on how to run a ministry - this may be done in courses as well
Partnering with us...
You can partner with us for our travel expenses as a large portion of our ministry will be in outlying villages we are raising funds for bus, plane and car travel.
Or you can partner with us with our smaller home ministries where coffee, water, sugar, baking or other supplies are used to help others feel a sense of belonging and home.
