Please support Chris Kape with Justin & Abbey in achieving our goal of raising $2,000 each. We cover our own travel expense and the entire $2,000 goal goes directly towards helping kids in Uganda. All donations help! This group will be backstopped by JAMCO Capital (http://jamcocapital.com).
The Group's Purpose
Participants will be working at three different project sites and partnered schools in each region. We will build our first ever solar powered reading lab and furnish it with tables, chairs, computers, headphones and wifi. Based on the success of the last trip, we will also replicate the nutritional component in a new region providing a village with a garden, chicken coop and water catchment system. In addition to our tangible goals, we will take the opportunity to engage and read with the students and teachers in all three villages ensuring the Walking School Bus reading application is optimized.
We will be in Uganda on March 11, 2017 for 10 days to help people with significants needs. It will be an incredible, and likely life altering, adventure.

About the Organizers
Established in 2015, The Walking School Bus' mission is to empower students in developing countries by using a three-pronged approach that focuses on increased access to education, helping to provide sustainable and adequate nutrition for their partnered beneficiaries based on Community Supported Agriculture, as well as creating academic partnerships and curriculum development between both local and international schools and their respective communities.
