Canopy is a non profit environmental organization dedicated to protecting forests, species and climate. Canopy collaborates with more than 850 companies to develop innovative solutions, make their supply chains more sustainable and help protect our world’s remaining ancient and endangered forests.
The Group's Purpose
Canopy has a fresh approach to environmental activism - we build bridges between business and ecological needs, we push hard for protected areas as well as brokering environmental solutions to meet the world's continued need for forest products. We couple idealism and passion to hard-core ecological results with pragmatic business solutions required to systemically address forest loss, species decline and climate change. We do all of this in the name of protecting the integrity of our planet. Canopy's work sparks the development of eco-friendly products, secure landmark conservation and lay the foundations for a green economy. We want to ensure the world's forests remain strong and standing, our species abundant, our ecosystems healthy and our climate stable.
