“We are shooting to make a difference for kids on and off the court!”
EIGHT Rotary Clubs, Rotoractors & Interactors will be working together to raise funds for the Strathcona Rotary Youth Leadership Program. All money raised will go to Scholarships, Leadership Training and the Strathcona Basketball Program for basketball equipment, coaching & transportation.
This year's event will be Saturday April 23/22.
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Strathcona Community Centre our Project's TOTAL GOAL is $50,000. (Half our Goal will be from online donors, like you!)
Please make a donation - Click on the "GIVE" link. You will receive an instant tax receipt. THANK YOU!
Since 2006, Rotary has raised over $460,000 for kids at risk. The program promotes teamwork, leadership skills, community involvement, education and respect for others.
Last year we awarded $32,000 in scholarships to students for post-secondary education. Each recipient was a top student with a commitment to community service, volunteering - and had a verified need for financial support. Your donations also supported the SCC Basketball Program and Girls who LEAP.
