The Group's Purpose
1% For Good is a community of people committing roughly 1% of their annual income towards high-impact charities. Every member commits a certain amount per month. Once a quarter our pooled funds are given away to a deserving charity by vote. We choose different charities every quarter and we support a variety of different causes so everyone can give to something they care about.
How to Help
1. Join our group by filling out the form at 1 For Good and we will send you a simple onboarding package.
2. Commit 1% (or an amount that fits your budget, doesn’t have to be 1%) of your annual income to charity. Calculate the amount and break that down into a monthly figure you’re comfortable with. We’ll send you instructions on how and where you set up your donations once you complete the form.
3. Every quarter we select a cause and we vote on a small list of high-impact charities within a cause theme. You can nominate a charity as well if you are passionate about one. The charity with the most votes gets the money that quarter.
