What we do
Vancouver Foundation's (YF) granting programs support initiatives in a variety of fields including: arts, culture, environment, animal welfare, education, health and medical research, disability issues, and homelessness. Our grants assist in the creation of safe and supportive environments for children, youth and families. Our support engages the community-based health and medical research and education. YF supports its "connect and engage" strategy, primarily through a significant expansion of the Neighborhood Small Grants program. We continue to address some of the underlying causes of youth homelessness in order to ensure that the most "at risk" youth can access needed resources. Partnered with the City of Vancouver, we continue to support innovative "green ideas". YF supports a youth advisory team that engages in public engagement, research and partnership activities that address the unique needs of immigrant and refugee youth in B.C.
