What we do
The War Amps is committed to improving the quality of life for Canadian amputees. Public support of the Key Tag Service, which has returned more than 1.5 million sets of keys, enables the association to continue to operate its many programs, such as the CHAMP Program for child amputees, the NationalService Bureau for war amputees, the National Amputee Centre for adult amputees and the PLAYSAFE Child Safety Program. The Association does not receive government funding. L'Association des Amputés de guerre est déterminée à améliorer la qualité de vie des Canadian amputé. L appui du public au Service des plaques porte-clés qui, à ce jour, a retourné à leurs propriétaires plus 1,5 million de trousseaux de clés perdus, permit à l association de continuer à offrir ses divers services, notamment le Programme LES VAINQUEURS, pour les enfants amputés, le Bureau national des services, pour les amputés de huerre, le Centre d information pour les personnes amputées, à l intention des adules,et le Prgramme JOUEZ PRUDEMMENT s'adressant aux enfants. L'association ne reçoit aucune subvention gouvernementale.
