Improving preservation: the preservation study completed in 2022 outlined areas to be improved. Following recommendations of the study we addressed high humidity by removing old carpet, repairing floors to close ducts left from a previous hot air furnace and painted the floors. All artifacts were cleaned and items that needed to be were put in acid free folders and storage boxes. Old building materials stored in crawl space was removed to limit insects. Town council repaired a road leak that caused water to accumulate around building. We continue to monitor our humidity levels.

Continue with recommendations outlined in preservation study is still top priority. Work on floors is near completion and will be completed this spring.
