The DuncanAfrica Society (Canada) operates the Suubi Vocational Training Institute in Mpigi, Uganda - a trade school where young men and women learn the fine art of building world class instruments. The sale of their instruments helps to offset the cost of running the school. Other training courses have also been offered, such as basic computer literacy and English. Our long term goal is to assist our apprentices to form their own instrument manufacturing company. Proceeds also go back into the community at large, helping those in need.
