What we do
Since 1952 the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities has been enabling abilities in BC and the Yukon through Easter Seals Camps and the Vancouver Easter Seals House. Easter Seals Camps host about 400 kids each summer in a week-long, fully accessible, overnight camp. Here, campers focus on their abilities, rather than their disabilities while taking risks and trying new things in a safe, supportive atmosphere.
The Vancouver Easter Seals House is a home away from home with over 30,000 bedstays each year for families from across BC & the Yukon who need to travel for their child’s medical attention. The house offers comfortable, safe, and affordable accommodations for kids of all disabilities and illnesses.
