Save the Children Canada carried out programs in countries around the world, including: Canada, Democratic Rep of Congo, Colombia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Philippines, Pakistan, Somalia, Uganda, US and Yemen. We continue to support local non-governmental partners in these countries to deliver effective projects and services in the field of: -Education (formal, non-formal, vocational, training); - To reduce the spread of HIV (through awareness, prevention, and access to health services); - To help people affected by natural and man-made disasters through relief distribution; - To support vulnerable children (street children, child workers, abused children) through provision of basic needs and access to training; - To bring lasting change by dialoguing with the government officials, local leaders, decision makers to encourage policies that promote children's rights.
