No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS) aims to rescue stray, abandoned, and abused animals, providing them with a safe and loving environment. They work to prevent cruelty and rehome animals, promoting their welfare and ensuring they receive necessary veterinary care.

Geographic Focus:
NOBARS operates primarily in Western Canada and Mexico. They rescue dogs from uncertain futures in Mexico, where animals often suffer from neglect, abuse, starvation, and illness. The organization then places these dogs in foster homes in both Canada and Mexico, where they are rehabilitated and eventually adopted into loving homes.

Program Highlights:
NOBARS selects friendly, adoptable dogs from rescue locations and provides them with voluntary quarantine in local foster homes. These foster homes offer emotional rehabilitation and any necessary medical care. Once the dogs are healthy, they are placed for adoption on NOBARS' website and other networking sites. The organization ensures all dogs are sterilized, temperament tested, socialized by fosters, and given all mandatory vaccinations before being transported to Canada. NOBARS does not discriminate by age, size, breed, location, or temperament, aiming to help all dogs in need.
