Mission Statement
The National Police Federation Benevolent Foundation supports the families of National Police Federation (NPF) Members who have died while serving, whether on or off duty. The Foundation provides immediate financial and other assistance to these families, helping them manage unexpected expenses that can arise after the death of a Member. It also manages donations from the public and NPF Members to further this support and funds post-secondary education for eligible students.

Geographic Focus
The Foundation operates across Canada, reflecting the national presence of the NPF and its Members. Its initiatives and programs are available to families and students in all regions, supporting RCMP Members and their dependents from coast to coast. Bursary and support programs are accessible to eligible individuals anywhere in Canada, demonstrating a wide-reaching national focus.

Program Highlights
Key programs include immediate financial assistance to the next-of-kin of fallen NPF Members, helping with funeral costs and related expenses. The Foundation also offers educational support through bursaries, such as the $5,000 annual Gordon Clarke Bursary and twelve regional bursaries of $2,500 each, supporting students pursuing studies in public safety. Special bursaries are also available for spouses and children of NPF Members. Additionally, the Foundation manages community outreach initiatives, supporting youth, sports, and local projects that honour the memories of fallen Members and encourage public safety leadership among young Canadians.
