Mission Statement
Manitoba Indigenous Youth Achievement Awards Inc. exists to honour and celebrate Indigenous youth in Manitoba. Its main purpose is to recognize positive achievements by Indigenous young people in many areas of life. The organization highlights their strengths, leadership, and contributions to their communities. It also aims to counter negative stereotypes by showcasing inspiring role models. Through public recognition, it encourages Indigenous youth to keep striving toward their goals. The awards help build pride, confidence, and hope among youth and their families.
