At Kids Up Front, we believe every child deserves access to experiences that inspire joy, build connection, and promote inclusion. We redistribute donated tickets to arts, culture, sports, and educational events to families – at not cost - who wouldn’t otherwise have access to these experiences.
By partnering with 92 local and provincial charities focused on supporting families within their community. We ensure every ticket finds a meaningful home. Demand far exceeds supply, reflecting a deep need for inclusive, enriching opportunities. A ticket is more than a seat—it’s a chance to learn, grow, and connect.
Social and economic exclusion significantly influences the mental health of children, youth, and families in Canada. Each day we are making a difference to children and youth facing multiple barriers due to poverty; terminal and/or chronic illness; emotional, mental or developmental difficulties; new immigrant or minority status; abuse, at-risk youth, and many more demographics! Extensive research underscores the critical role of community inclusion and involvement in recreational activities in fostering positive mental health and building self-esteem
Together, we can expand access, create a lasting impact and encourage vulnerable kids and youth to thrive. It is so much more than a ticket when a child has a seat at a football game or a mother and daughter share a night at the theatre. Memories are made, inclusion in the greater community is witnessed and the excitement is often palpable.

Our program promotes social development by providing children and youth facing barriers with exposure to diverse cultural experiences, access to sporting events, and opportunities for hands-on learning. It also fosters community building by strengthening connections between families, friends and mentors who invest in the well-being of our kids and youth. By working with event venues and local organizations we are creating partnerships with family focused and child-serving groups to give them access to local experiences. Our program also optimizes community resources by transforming unused capacity into meaningful opportunities, maximizing the use of existing community assets, and establishing a sustainable model for sharing enriching experiences. Extensive research underscores the critical role of community inclusion and involvement in recreational activities in fostering positive mental health and building self-esteem.
