Indigenous Education is Canada’s Future
Indspire is an Indigenous national charity that invests in the education of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people for the long-term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada.
Charity Intelligence Canada recognized Indspire with their five-star rating and named us a Top 10 Canadian Impact Charity for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
We serve First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students in remote communities, rural areas and urban centres across Canada. With the support of our funding partners, we disburse financial awards, deliver programs, and share resources with the goal of increasing graduation rates for Indigenous students.
Our Educator Resources serve educators, communities, rural areas, and other stakeholders who are committed to improving kindergarten to grade 12 Indigenous student success.
Today, Indspire has reached a new level of impact, with some significant milestones being reached in fiscal year 23/24.
In partnership with Indigenous, private, and public sector supporters, Indspire has distributed more than 75,000+ scholarships and bursaries, valued at over $248+ million, to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students through its Building Brighter Futures (BBF) program.
Each year, we present the Indspire Awards, a nationally broadcast celebration of the successes achieved by Indigenous people.
