They have also extended their efforts to other parts of Asia, particularly in Kolkata (Calcutta), India, to provide comprehensive care and management for these conditions.

Hemoglobal's programs include providing medical supplies and equipment, organizing local physicians, and seeking help from local governments. They have established a National Thalassemia Center in Kurunegala, Sri Lanka, which serves as a hub for care and management of blood disorders. The center includes a laboratory for blood sample analysis, a library for doctors and patients, and separate floors for pediatric and adolescent patient care. Hemoglobal also engages in fundraising activities, such as bake sales, calendar or card sales, car washes, pizza parties, school dances, and university pub nights, to support their mission. Additionally, they collaborate with universities like the University of Toronto to create partnerships and spread awareness about their charity and its work.
