Family Services of Greater Vancouver supports youth, families, and survivors facing crisis with the care, safety, and resources they need to move forward.
Each year, more than 11,000 people turn to us, from youth experiencing homelessness, to families navigating trauma, and survivors of violence, often working with our teams over months or years to rebuild stability and safety.
Our approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, meeting people where they are and walking alongside them as they move toward independence.
Right now, demand for support continues to grow.
Youth rely on us for meals, connection, and safety every day. Survivors need timely, trauma-informed care. Families are navigating increasing financial and emotional pressures.
Your support ensures that when someone reaches out, they are met with care, not a waitlist.
At Family Services of Greater Vancouver, every interaction begins with someone being seen, heard, and supported.
A youth finds food, safety, and connection.
A family rebuilds stability.
A survivor chooses safety on their own terms.
This work takes time, and your support makes it possible.
In one year, FSGV provides:
40,000+ meals and snacks to vulnerable youth each year
10,000+ referrals for at-risk youth
15,000+ hours of support for survivors of gender- and power--based violence
3,300+ people supported through financial literacy programs
And so much more.
This is immediate, practical support that helps people stabilize and move forward.
