What we do
Al-Kawthar Foundation is a non-profit organization currently focusing on raising funds for our latest project, the 1 acre Al-Kawthar Complex and Mosque, which will house a childcare centre, learning centre, funeral home and worship area. Our foundation, along with Al-Kawthar Association, presents a wide variety of humanitarian and financial services to new immigrants and residents of the Metro Vancouver area. Among other things, this includes carrying out funeral preparations and burial services for the various Muslim communities in the Lower Mainland. Our members founded Child Aid International, which is currently sponsoring over 750 Iraqi orphans, as well as Al-Mustafa Madrasa, a Saturday weekend school, to help provide the generations to come with an Islamic education.
