Mission Statement
Edmonton Vocal Minority Music Society is a non-profit, amateur choral group that welcomes all people, regardless of their background or musical experience. The choir’s mission is to provide accessible education and entertainment, support the development of Canadian artists, and create a harmonious space for diverse voices. EVM encourages collaboration between professionals and amateurs, aiming to foster unity and greater awareness in the community.

The group offers vocal training, open rehearsals, and special “Meet the Choir Nights” for welcoming new members, regardless of skill level. EVM is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the culture and history of Edmonton’s queer community, championing equality, and embracing diversity in all its forms.
