The CFB Esquimalt Military Family Resource Centre’s mission is to enhance resilience in military families. It achieves this by offering programs and services that serve, involve, and advocate for the military community and their families. The organization addresses the unique challenges of the military family lifestyle to improve their quality of life and support military operations.

The Centre is based in Victoria, BC, with a focus on serving Canadian Forces members and their families in the CFB Esquimalt area. It is a community-based organization that supports both Regular and Reserve Force military families. While its main operations are in Greater Victoria and Esquimalt, it is part of a national network of MFRCs across Canada.

The Esquimalt MFRC offers a wide range of programs and services. These include deployment and work-related absence support, such as family network events, return and reunion support, and morale mail. The Centre also provides counselling and wellness services, including mental health and parenting support, crisis intervention, and information and referrals. Family-focused programs like creative child care, social activities, workshops, and up to four free childcare sessions per month during deployments are available. The Centre further supports families through relocation assistance, educational and employment outreach, and peer support groups. Additional services for veterans help navigate health care, employment, and mental health systems.
