CASA Mental Health delivers mental health services to Albertans aged three to 18 and their families. CASA serves the missing middle: services between home and hospital, where mental illness is too complex to be cared for in community or by physicians alone, and should not require a hospital.
CASA Mental Health is an accredited non-profit provider of clinical mental health services for children and youth ages three to 18 and their families. CASA’s programs aim to meet the needs of the missing middle: services between home and hospital, where mental illness is too complex to be cared for in community or by physicians alone, and should not require a hospital. CASA’s services centre around the child and wrap around the entire family.
CASA Mental Health has been a cornerstone of free mental health services in Alberta for nearly 40 years, serving children, youth and their families. With teams of trauma-informed professionals, CASA provides assessment and treatment for more than 11,000 children, youth and their family members each year each year.
CASA Mental Health is expanding its circle of care around the province to provide much needed mental health service to as many families as possible – where they need it, when they need it. This is part of our vision of a community where all children, youth and their families are provided with timely mental health care and empowered to thrive.
As demand continues to grow, CASA Mental Health is using innovative approaches to ensure more families can access free mental health care when and where they need it. CASA is shaping the future of mental health care in Alberta—making sure support is not only accessible, but transformative
