Program Highlights:
- Youth Justice Committees: A community-based alternative to court that helps young people move through and past minor offenses by holding them accountable without holding them back. Volunteers support young people to turn their mistakes into opportunities for growth and community involvement.
- In the Lead Program: A program where youth participants, despite facing obstacles, are nominated based on possibility. They attend weekly classes to recognize, nurture, and practice individual strengths and character competencies that build resilience. Participants can earn credits towards their diploma, and corporate partners engage employees as Volunteer Coaches for one-on-one support.
- Community Engagement: The society connects adult volunteers with young people, fostering community connections and opportunities that build upon their strengths. They work with local businesses and organizations to provide support and resources for vulnerable youth.
