The Calgary Homeless Foundation (CHF) is implementing Calgary’s 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness along with non-profit agencies, businesses, governments, the faith community, donors and all Calgarians.
The 10 Year Plan was created in 2008 by a group of community leaders. We were asked to oversee its implementation. The goal is to develop a more effective homeless-serving system that will end homelessness, instead of just managing it.
To implement the 10 Year Plan, our role is to coordinate the overall system, fund and support non-profit agencies, conduct research, oversee an information management system, own housing and increase public awareness.
