The BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund provides life saving, life supporting, and life enriching services to Burn Survivors, and works to save all British Columbians from a similar trauma. " A few of the programs & services offered: Hosts an Annual Burn Camp Program to all Burn Survivors in BC ages 6 to 18 years old. Provides funding of pressure garments for those that don't have extended coverage. A "Home Away from Home Program" accommodations for Survivors and their families. More than 3,900 professional fire fighters from fifty-three communities in British Columbia and the Yukon are building the Burn Fund’s vision. They dedicate their time and skills to support burn survivors and increase public awareness of fire and burn safety issues through the Burn Fund’s research, support and prevention programs.
The Burn Fund is the charitable arm of the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Association and was established as a registered charity in 1978.
