The BCLI carries out a variety of projects that aim to clarify, simplify and modernize the law. It also provides education and research on legal issues having a particular significance for older adults. During the period the following projects continued: Canadian Centre for Elder law, Builders LienAct Reform Project, Employment Standards Act Reform Project, Strata Property Law Project- Phase Two, Uniform Law Conference of Canada Vital Statistics Act Renewal Project, Older Women's Dialogue Project (Phase Two), Investing with Supported Decision Making, Health Care Consent, Aging and Dementia: Mapping Law and Practice in British Columbia.
