We hold Regional Workshops biennially with our Provincial Festival. These opportunities encourage Handbell Ringers to: -bring bell choirs (ringers) together from across the province -develop an intergenerational relationship -stimulate, develop, enhance and introduce new ringing skills and appreciation of music through the art of handbell ringing -develop and build our conduction skills We maintain a visible presence on the internet through our website as a source of reliable information on topics including, but not limited to, names and contact information for board members, membership, upcoming workshops and symposia, music lending library and our newsletter which is distributed on a quarterly basis. We offer a chime and bell loan program to assist members and attract new members to the musical world of handbells and handchimes. We provide bursaries to students to enable them to attend a provincial, national or international handbell event. We have an endowment fund from which members can apply for assistance for themselves or their choir for such things as: a) travel to attend a provincial, national or international handbell event, b) capital purchase of handbells or chimes, c) outreach/development, d) funding a conductor for Ringing Link or International Symposium.
While recuperating from the 2016 International Handbell Symposium there has been no new program during 2017.
