Big Brothers Big Sisters core mentoring programs: Community-based programs(one-to-one relationships between adult mentor and a child) - Big Brothers Big Sisters Cross-Gender Matching, Couple matching, Big Outdoor Site based programs (one-on-on or group programs between a volunteer mentor and a child but operated in partnership with others such as schools or other community services): In-School Mentoring, BigBunch, Go Girls!, Game on! In 2015, over 500 volunteers provided service to over 500 children and youth mentoring services. Big Brothers Big Sisters runs a social enterprise named ReNew Crew which accepts donations of textiles and sells them to for-profit private organization. The funds produced from this operation are used to match, screen and train mentors matched with local children, as well as providing group programs.
Due to a challenging fund raising environment, the agency has concentrated on sustainable growth of existing menu of services rather than development of new services.
