Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC) is the National office for its member agencies serving hundreds of communities across Canada. The world is not equal. Some kids face more adversity than others in reaching their full potential. The Solution: The single most common factor for children who end up doing well is having the support of one stable and committed relationship with an adult which increases social-emotional competence, mental health and wellbeing, education engagement, and employment readiness. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada provides support services, training and program development to our member agencies, which deliver quality mentoring programs to children who can greatly benefit from having a caring adult role model. Last year, more than 32,000 children were supported by over 17,000 trained volunteer mentors across Canada.
