Youth/childrenOutreach and welfare

Our programs match children and youth 6 to 16 years of age in the community with appropriate mentors. We provide ongoing support to clients and facilitate new matches of volunteers with children/youth. We organize events for matched and unmatched clients. We have one on one match programs (traditional and in-school) and through regular outings/meetings, a relationship is developed between the mentor and the mentee, which is built on trust and common interests, and is supported by our experienced case-worker. The result is a life-changing experience for both the mentor and the mentee.

The Group Mentoring Program is designed to serve the children that are currently waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister. Littles and Volunteers will get together on a bi-weekly basis, with a radio of 4 children to 1 adult.
