- Weekly worship services which include Sunday School - Provide Pastoral Care to members of the congregation and to those who are unable to attend church due to age, illness and/or disability - Support other charities in need through Mission & Service outreach - Bethesda maintains a Healing Garden, Labyrinth and Wooded Nook on the church grounds which are open to the community at large for meditation, prayer and spiritual comfort. - Soul Food Express - A weekly outreach program from May to September where dinner is made available on church grounds by local food trucks offering an opportunity for young families and community neighbours to enjoy fellowship in the park like setting of the church property

- Music in the Key of Life series - this program was started in 2016 and continued in 2017. It was organized and hosted at Bethesda United Church to raise awareness and financial support for charitable organizations within the local community. A concert was held in 2017 to benefit Ancaster Community Services.
