We conduct education and empowerment programs for youth and educators. Our flagship program, Student Leadership for Change (SLC), is an online library of learning resources focused on eco-social justice. We support educators to engage their students in meaningful learning and action on issues including environmental justice, climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and more. This fiscal year, over 1600 teachers were registered to access our learning library and brought empowering eco-social education to over 2100 students. We also conduct professional development workshops for teachers, and interactive, engaging workshops for students. Our 13 professional development workshops this fiscal year helped over 250 teachers gain confidence in theoretical and practical approaches to eco-social education. We conducted 89 youth workshops with over 1700 youth on topics such as climate action, climate emotions, freshwater pollution, and water justice. In addition to these youth focused programs, we conduct community education and engagement programs focused on environmental and climate action through providing resources and delivering workshops.

Care is a youth-led response to the need for narratives that acknowledge the emotional impacts of climate change and uplift hope and action rather than doom and gloom. These workshops provide space for youth across the Thompson-Shuswap regions of BC to explore the emotional impacts of wildfires. Designed in response to growing climate anxiety in youth across Canada, these workshops use a "by youth, for youth" model to break through the climate of silence surrounding the emotional impacts of climate change. We piloted Care in libraries and to community groups in the summer of 2023.
