- ORGANIZED AND HELD A 4-DAY SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING FAIR FOR YOUTHS (GRADE 7 TO 12) IN THE CITY OF HAMILTON, REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF HALTON, SIX NATIONS AND THE COUNTIES OF BRANT, HALDIMAND AND NORFOLK; - ACTIVITIES INCLUDED REGISTRATION, JUDGING, ACTIVITY MORNING, PUBLIC VIEWING AND THE AWARDS CEREMONY; - MENTORED STUDENTS ATTENDING THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE FAIRS;- PROVIDED FINANCING OF TRIPS AND CHAPERPONES FOR TOP PROJECTS TO COMPETE AT THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE FAIRS; - PROVIDED 19 BURSARIES OF $30 EACH TO STUDENTS WITH FINANCIAL NEED TO ASSIST THEM TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES FOR THEIR SCIENCE PROJECTS; - TECHNOLOGY SEED INITIATIVE - PROVIDED A STARTER KIT OF MATERIAL AND RESOURCES TO QUALIFYING STUDENTS SO THEY CAN BEGIN EXPERIMENTING WITH ELECTRONICS RELATED PROJECTS.
