Fulfilling the Society's stated purpose: to identify, research, preserve, exhibit, interpret and publicize information, items and buildings that document the founding, settlement and development of River Inhabitants and area. 1- maintain and interpret former United church building in Cleveland, Nova Scotia, now known as the Cleveland Heritage Church Museum; 2- collect genealogies and local histories; 3- inventory and record artifacts in area; 4- guide historical tours of River Inhabitants area. The museum is opened seasonally and uses students hired by the Society to care for the facility and serve the visiting clients. otherwise 4-8 volunteers cover the year.
