Develop, support and encourage self-sustainability of health care in remote communities. The emphasis is on prevention, education and self-sustainability, early diagnosis and treatment. Programs try to incorporate both local indigenous as well as western solutions depending on the specific needs of each community. Specific areas of interest include clean water, nutrition, immunizations, maternal/child health, infectious disease, therapeutics,health education and exploring innovative investigatory tools for practical u se in remote areas.
